Having started in 2003 we are Christchurch's largest Saturday Farmers' Market and we are located in the beautiful and historic grounds of Riccarton House and Bush.

Set in the stunning grounds of Riccarton House and Bush, the Farmers' Market runs every Saturday from 9am until 1pm all year round.

With the best of Canterbury's produce on offer, Hummingbird coffee and live music, the market is a must-do every week. As mentioned in Lonely Planet - "Things to do in Christchurch" list.

The market is widely acclaimed for both the quality and diversity of its fresh farm products, and artisan and prepared foods. It is renowned throughout the country as one of the top farmers markets to visit. We aim to make sure that the actual stallholders are the producers themselves – people who grow, rear or bake the food that they sell.

Ask questions, explore their knowledge, get recipe ideas and find out what each stall holder has to offer.

Parking is not available on the grounds of Riccarton House but parking is available on the surrounding streets.

We do encourage walking, biking, scooting, running, skipping and jumping along to the market as well.

Please make sure to bring a sturdy bag to hold your shopping or pick up one of the Christchurch Farmers' Market bags for just $8 from the Info stall.
